We partnered with the Baretto & Croce family of Fazenda Ambiental Forteleza (Environmental Farm Fortress) in Mococa, Brazil for our Roastery espresso. FAF's mission is to be a socially, environmentally, and economically stable farm. FAF uses only sustainable agriculture and organic practices in its coffee production. Their care for the environment extends beyond the beans. The FAF works to protect and maintain the natural habitat of the Bob-O-link, a unique black and white bird that migrates to South America from North America every year.
Our Roastery Kenya Single Estate is made exclusively from beans from James Gachaki a.k.a "St. James" on his farm in Kiamutugu at the base of Mount Kenya. His commitment to organic fertilizers, uniform picking and building his own mill all contribute to his excellent coffee. James uses proceeds from his coffee and tea farm to fund both a school on his property and the building of a church for the local community.
